Policies and Information

Drop Off

Unless otherwise directed, we request that you drop your vehicle at or before the start of business. If you need to wait on location for your vehicle to be repaired you may do so in our well-appointed waiting room. We cannot have customers inside the shop for safety reasons. If you plan to wait for your vehicle to be repaired, please let us know when you call to make your appointment- that way we can get you out as quickly as possible.

Diagnosis

Our technicians put a lot of effort into looking over a vehicle and compiling an estimate. If a customer declines the work recommended by our technician, there will be a minimum of one hour diagnostic fee. 

We do not rely on the diagnosis from another shop. If a customer requests repair from another shop's diagnosis, the customer is responsible for payment of the repair regardless of the other shop's incorrect diagnoses.

Parts

We do not install customer supplied parts. We work with trusted suppliers for our parts to ensure quality parts, timely delivery, and a one year warranty. If you have any questions about this policy feel free to send an email to info@harborautocenteronline.com for more information.

Pick Up

It is our desire to complete a job as quickly as possible, however, if you need your vehicle returned to you at a particular time, please let us know as soon as possible.


It is the customer's responsibility to pay for and pick up their vehicle within two days of completed repairs. Vehicles left on the lot after 48 hours may incur a $30.00 per day expense.

Warranty

We want all of our customers to be pleased with our service. We are a small shop which relies on happy customers from quality work. If you ever have concerns about your repair, please let us know as soon as possible so that we may rectify the situation. Unless otherwise noted, your repair comes with a 12,000 mile / 12 month (whichever comes first) warranty.

We Believe in Respect

Harbor Auto Center has been providing the finest automobile service since 2010. The business was founded by Charles Anderson, a brilliant master technician who was disappointed with the dealership world of up-selling customers on unnecessary repairs. He was known for going the extra mile for everyone, taking great care to insure excellent service on all levels. 

Charles' business was an extension of his family and his values. His wife Megan managed the business, his sister Ashley was in customer service, and his children were often seen toddling around entertaining customers. Together they created a shop where customers were treated like an extension of the family providing honest work for fair pay. 

Tragically, Charles passed away in 2018. Megan took over as owner of the business, with the desire to carry on his legacy. She is dedicated to creating lasting relationships with customers, employees and other small businesses in the community. 

As a small, family owned shop we recognize the need for quality repairs with fair pricing; if we tell you it needs it we'll be happy to show you and inform you why. We pride ourselves in offering quick, effective repairs, allowing you to return to the road as soon as possible without breaking the bank.
